Do I need to live in Türkiye before, during or after the application?
No. The program has no residency requirement at any stage. You may live entirely abroad and keep full citizenship for life.
How long does the whole process take?
Four to six months is typical from engagement to passport, assuming documents are complete. The purchase itself usually completes within the first six weeks.
Is the $400,000 property threshold per person?
Per application. One investment of $400,000 covers you, your spouse and all children under 18 in a single file.
Can I buy more than one property to reach $400,000?
Yes. Multiple properties can be combined as long as their official valuations total at least $400,000 and all deeds carry the three-year annotation.
Can I sell the property after three years?
Yes, freely. The no-sale annotation expires after three years and selling does not affect your citizenship, which is permanent.
Does Türkiye allow dual citizenship?
Türkiye places no restriction on holding other nationalities. Your home country's law is the deciding factor: Pakistan and most Arab states permit it in practice, India does not permit dual citizenship, and Iranian and Chinese clients receive specific advice on their situation.
Will my children born in the future be Turkish?
Yes. Children born after your naturalisation are Turkish citizens by descent, automatically.
Do I need to speak Turkish or pass any test?
No. There is no language requirement, no interview and no citizenship test.
Can I pay for the property in cash?
No. The regulation requires bank-to-bank transfer with documented source of funds. We structure the transfer path before you send anything.
What taxes will I pay in Türkiye?
As a non-resident you are generally taxed only on Turkish-source income, such as rent from your property. Buying costs include title deed fee and small charges we itemise in your cost sheet. We provide tax guidance with local accountants.
Is the Turkish passport visa-free for Europe or the US?
Not for the Schengen area or the US as of July 2026; those require visas. The passport reaches 110+ destinations visa-free or visa-on-arrival, including much of Asia, Latin America and Africa, and Türkiye's E-2 treaty with the US opens an investor visa route after three years of citizenship.
What can go wrong, honestly?
The three real risks are overpriced property that fails official valuation, transfers from accounts not in your name, and incomplete attestation of family documents. All three are process failures, not program failures, and all three are preventable with proper legal review, which is the reason our service exists.
Are there nationalities that cannot apply?
A short government exclusion list applies. None of our five core markets is on it. We confirm your eligibility in writing during the free assessment.
What does your service cost and how do you charge?
